Unknown Impersonators Target Correct Capital Wealth Management and CEO Brian I. Pultman on WhatsApp
**UPDATE** As of January 29th, 2025, Meta has confirmed that they are disabling and removing accounts affiliated with the fraudulent phone number. If you are still receiving messages from those numbers, please report them to WhatsApp.
Correct Capital Wealth Management (CCWM) has been notified that someone is impersonating the company and its CEO, Brian I. Pultman, on the mobile application WhatsApp.
Please know that:
- CCWM does not use WhatsApp to market its services.
- No one by the name "Kaylee Ochoa" works for CCWM.
- CCWM only works with registered advisors to provide investment advice to clients with whom it has a contractual relationship. Additionally, CCWM only does so where it has trading discretion to make trades without needing to contact clients.
- CCWM only enters contractual relationships with clients who have been provided its Form ADV, Parts 2A, 2B, and 3.
Upon discovering these sham communications, CCWM has alerted local law enforcement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and has reported to WhatsApp to take down the offending posts as they seem to violate its Terms of Service.
